Israel releases body of toddler killed by soldiers nine days ago The body of Ruqaya Ahmad Odeh Jahalin was taken by Israeli forces after they shot her at Beit Iksa checkpoint northwest of occupied East Jerusalem, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says. We reported on January 7 that Israeli forces had shot and killed the four-year-old Palestinian girl who was sitting in the backseat of a car in the central West Bank. She was shot in the back by Israeli forces while sitting in a shared taxi van, according to documentation collected by Defense for Children International – Palestine. “What did they do with the body?” the ministry asks in a statement posted on X. “Why did they keep it? Do they have the right to do so? And will they apologise to the child’s family?”ALT

I seriously want to know why they took her body. I also want to know (and pardon how ghoulish this is) if she still has all her organs, given the reports of bodies being desecrated and harvested.

There is no justice in this world, my days, she was just a little girl.

Adding to the point of organs being harvested:

I want the idiots who keep “debunking” the stolen organs thing to understand, that even if it wasn’t for organ harvesting, the Israeli army has shown us enough of their depravity to understand that they could be doing this just for the sake of violating the body. We’ve seen and heard how they violate the living; now imagine what they can do to the dead who cannot resist or fight back.

Remember that we’ve only seen the crimes FILMED and shared. How many more couldn’t be filmed, and how many more were filmed but couldn’t be shared?

I want to highlight something that is perhaps a bit of an oversight for many. Those of us who are engaging with the journalists reporting from Gaz an are able to do so because they are speaking in English. They are speaking in English which is not their mother tongue. They are not speaking for or to each other. From a trauma perspective, the strength it must take to translate your experiences is immense. This is more than them "just saying it in English" this is them begging for our help. When in trauma, the mother tongue is heavily relied on as a form of expression. They are speaking English for us. So we hear them. So we understand them. So we stand beside them. And so that we can never say, "we had no idea!" Let us see what a privilege it is that they speak to us in our language and recognise it as a means of accessing the world. How grateful we should be, don't take their labour for granted as they do everything they can to survive. @mixing.up.motherhoodALT

Here’s the point! They are all trying to get the word out in English for the world to hear, see and help them. Besides, they are all very young and have to deliver news like this. At a time when teenagers their age are having fun going to clubs and whatnot, meanwhile they (motaz and another journalist in Palestine) have to deliver the genocide that is happening in their country, in their homeland.

I’m sure we all know this, but some of you are still reluctant to talk about Palestine, still reluctant to stand up for Palestine.

fuck israel, israeli, joe biden, Netanyahu!!!

Your scheduled reminder that the right of colonized and occupied people to armed resistance against their colonizers and occupiers is enshrined in international law.
